Born in Niigata.
Graduated from Hosei University in Japan. Finished the master’s degree in Russia. While I was a student in Japan, I have visited and photographed in Russia. Awarded Epson Color image contest grand prix with a series “Bokura ha Ikiru” in 2000. Worked in Kobunsya Studio.
Without looking on the country from a biased viewpoint of “cold and dark”,
conveying Russia of the usual times.

大学在学中からロシアを旅行し写真を撮り続ける。2000年「僕らは生きる」でエプソンカラーイメージコンテスト大賞受賞。光文社スタジオ勤務後、2007年独立。モスクワで写真と執筆活動をし始めて10年以上が経つ。普段のきらりと光る瞬間を切り取っていく。
